Who we are

About and Credentials

A locally owned Chicagoland notary business built on punctuality, accuracy and respect.

Our story

Getting something notarized should not mean taking time off work, searching for a notary on duty, or asking a sick relative to travel. Illinois Mobile and Electronic Notary Services, LLC was founded to bring a licensed notary to people wherever they are, at any hour.

Based in Forest Park, we serve individuals, families, hospitals, care facilities, law firms and businesses across Chicago and the suburbs, and we notarize online for signers anywhere in Illinois.

Our commitments

  • On time. We confirm an arrival window and keep you posted.
  • Accurate. Every ID, signature and certificate is checked before we leave.
  • Transparent. You get the full price before we travel.
  • Respectful. Especially in hospitals and difficult moments.
  • Private. Your documents and information are handled with care.

What NNA Certification Means

The National Notary Association (NNA) is a national professional organization for notaries founded in 1957. Title companies, lenders and signing services across the country rely on its certification when choosing who to send into a client's home.

How a notary becomes NNA Certified

  1. Training

Complete the NNA course on proper signing procedures, identity verification and document handling.

  2. Exam

    Pass the NNA certification exam.

  3. Background check

Pass a background check that meets mortgage industry standards, repeated every year.

Why it matters to you

  • Trust: an independent organization has screened the person coming to your home, office or hospital room.
  • Accuracy: trained, tested procedures mean fewer rejected documents and fewer repeat signings.
  • Accountability: certification must be renewed, and it sits alongside our Illinois commission, bond and insurance.

Good to know. NNA certification is a professional credential. It is separate from the Illinois notary commission, which is issued by the Illinois Secretary of State. We hold both.
