Privacy and Terms
How we handle your information, and the terms of our services.
Last updated October 6, 2026.
Information we collect
This website does not store what you type into the request form. Tapping "Text my request" or "Email instead" opens your own messaging or email app with a prefilled message, and you decide whether to send it. When you call, text or email us, we receive what you share, such as your name, phone number, location and document type. If you book or pay through Square, Square collects that information under its own privacy policy.
How we use it
Only to quote, schedule and perform your service, take payment, and keep the records Illinois law requires, including the notary journal. We do not sell your information.
Third parties
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive basic technical information such as your IP address. Payments are processed by Square. Calls and texts are carried by your wireless provider. Shipments are handled by the carrier you choose.
Payments
Card and digital wallet payments are processed by Square, Inc. When you pay online, you enter your card details on Square's secure checkout page, not on this website. We never see or store your full card number. Square handles payment data under its own privacy policy and security standards.
Cookies
This website works without tracking cookies. It remembers your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again. If you choose "Accept," we may load Google tags that use cookies to measure visits and the performance of our advertising. If you choose "Decline," those tags are not loaded. You can change your choice any time using "Cookie Preferences" at the bottom of every page, or by clearing your browser data.
Pages hosted by others, such as Square checkout and booking pages, set their own cookies under their own policies.
Not legal advice
We are not a law firm. A notary public can verify identity and witness signatures but cannot give legal advice, choose forms, or prepare legal documents.
Service terms
Notarial fees follow Illinois law. Courier, shipping and platform charges are quoted before the appointment. A notary may decline a notarization if a signer cannot be identified, does not appear to understand the document, appears to be signing under pressure, or if the request would break the law. Shipping and delivery costs are separate from the $15 courier service fee. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers once a shipment is handed off.
